Stages and ending
Advance teams through the event and close it out when it is over.
Only one stage is live at a time. Moving on is a deliberate step, and it happens in Discord.
Starting the next stage and ending the tournament are buttons on the Discord dashboard. The web dashboard can prepare everything around them but cannot press them.
Start the next stage
- On the pinned dashboard choose Configure… → Stages.
- Press Start next stage.
- Choose Yes + clear lobby roles to take lobby roles off managers, or Yes + keep roles to leave them.
- Watch the progress message. A public summary stays in the channel when it finishes.
This makes the next stage live and resets the approval placements for it. Slot lists and the scoring sheet are left as they are.
Then seat the new stage
In Discord
- Click lobby numbers on the approval messages to place teams. Auto-accept does not apply after stage 1.
- Run
/sheets updatewith a lobby number, orall, so the new stage's tabs get their rosters. Previous-stage tabs are kept. - Open confirmation again when you are ready.
On the web dashboard
- On the Teams tab choose the new stage and assign teams to lobbies.
- Run
/sheets updatein Discord so the sheet matches. - Open confirmation from Overview when ready.
End the tournament
On the final stage the button reads End tournament. It asks the same clear-or-keep question about lobby roles, shows progress, then leaves a public summary.
An ended tournament disappears from commands and its dashboard message is deleted. There is no button to bring it back. If you ended one by mistake, ask in the support server.
The waitlist role is never removed by advancing or ending.
