Your team
A team is yours to carry between servers and events. Create it once, keep the roster current, and register it wherever you play.
What a team is
- Global
- A team is not tied to one server. The same team can register in events on any server that uses Axis Manager.
- Managers
- Up to five people can manage a team. You become a manager when you create it. Each person can manage up to five active teams. Bot accounts cannot be managers.
- Roster
- Four starters (P1 to P4) and two substitutes (S1, S2). A player can have a Discord user, an in-game ID and an in-game name (IGN).
- Name
- Team names are unique among active teams. If a name is taken, use
/teamwith that name to look at the existing team.
In Discord
Create a team
- Run
/create teamin a server. - Fill in the team name, tag, country and, if you like, upload a logo and add other managers.
- The bot posts a public message that the team was created. It deletes itself after about a minute.
Fill the roster
- Run
/team. With no name it shows teams you manage or play on. Add a name or numeric ID to open another team. - Press Manage players. Fill in P1 to P4 and S1, S2.
- Use Manage team to change the name, tag, country, logo or managers.
Team cards posted in a server clean themselves up after about five minutes without use. Keep editing and the timer resets. In DMs the card is private to you.
Leave or disband
- Leave team
- A linked player presses Leave team on the card to take themselves off the global roster. They stay on any tournament roster that was already registered until a manager changes it.
- Disband team
- A sole manager confirms once. If a team has several managers, two different managers must press Disband team within 24 hours. Disbanding withdraws live registrations and removes related roles and messages.
On the web dashboard
On the web dashboard
The dashboard shows teams but does not edit them. Sign in at manager.axis-labs.xyz and open Dashboard. You see every team you manage first, then your servers.
- Open a team to see its roster and where it is registered right now.
- To change the roster, name, logo or managers, use
/teamin Discord.
Organizers see team rosters inside their event, on the Teams tab of a tournament.
When you register for a tournament, the bot saves a frozen copy of your roster. Changes you make to the team afterward do not touch that copy. Fix it with a roster edit if the organizer allows them, or register again while registration is open. See Registering.
No Axis team? Scrims allow that
A scrim does not need an Axis team. A manager can register with a typed message instead. To show a logo on results anyway, run /logo, enter the team name exactly as you type it when registering, and upload a PNG or JPEG. Upload again under the same name to replace it. If you already manage an Axis team with that name, its logo is used instead.
