Permissions and roles

Who counts as an admin, who counts as a manager, and what the bot needs from your server.

People

WhoCan
Server owner or AdministratorCreate events. Manage every event on the server. Always has access to the web dashboard for that server.
Event adminAnyone holding an event admin role you set (up to three on a tournament). Manages that event: settings, placing teams, scoring, results, and /event dashboard.
Team managerEdit the team, register it, confirm or withdraw, and edit a registered roster when edits are open.
AnyoneView team cards, run /ping, /help and /plans.

The web dashboard uses the same rule as Discord. You sign in with Discord and see the servers where you are the owner, an Administrator, or hold an event admin role.

What the bot needs

Basic access
View Channel, Send Messages, Read Message History and Embed Links in every channel it posts in.
Manage Roles
To give and take lobby, stage, captain, waitlist, ban and VIP roles.
Manage Channels
In the registration channel, to open and close access for the registration role on a schedule.
Role order
The bot's highest role must sit above every role it gives out. If not, role changes fail.
It does not create anything for you

Axis Manager never makes channels or roles. You create them, then pick them in settings.

Time

All registration, confirmation and scrim times are UTC. Discord shows each time in your own time zone beside the entry, so you can check it.
