Troubleshooting
Find the symptom, then try the fix.
Event type

| The bot does not answer a command | Run /ping. If that works, the bot is up and the command's own error message says what is missing. Check it can view and write in that channel. |
| Roles are not being given | Move the bot's role above them in Server Settings → Roles and give it Manage Roles. |
| Times look wrong by hours | All times are UTC. Compare using the time Discord shows in your own zone. |
| Your server is missing on the web dashboard | You must be the owner, an Administrator, or hold an event admin role. Sign out, sign in again, and make sure the bot is in the server. |
| A web change is not showing in Discord | Press the page's Sync button, then give the bot a few seconds. |
| The pinned dashboard is gone | Run /event dashboard. It posts a new one. |
| Scoring says another action is running | Only one of /sheets update, Auto Score and Get results runs at a time. Wait and retry. |
| Auto Score says it cannot run | Check your credits on the page, and that the event has a scoring sheet. |
| Results image looks blank | Scores or player names are missing in the sheet for the lobby you picked. Fix the sheet or run /sheets update, then try again. |

| Registration will not open | Set the registration and approval channels, then use Open registration or wait for the schedule. |
/register says registration is closed | Check the schedule and the Open registration button. A manual close stays closed until the next scheduled open. |
| Team fails the roster rules | It needs the minimum number of players, and linked players may need to be in your server. Change the rules under Registration if they are too strict. |
| Auto-accept stopped seating teams | It only applies to stage 1. From stage 2 place teams with the approval buttons or the web Teams tab. |
| Lobby buttons or roles fail | Each lobby needs a role and a channel, and the bot's role must be above the lobby role. |
| Confirm and Withdraw are grey | Confirmation is closed, or the prompt is from an earlier stage. |
| Open edits is disabled | The live stage needs a roster-edits channel first. |
| Edits to my team do not show in the tournament | Registration keeps a snapshot. Use roster edits, or register again while registration is open. |
| No scoring workbook | Press Create sheet under Configure… → Scoring, or ask in the support server. |

| Setup still needed | Add a day, a registration channel, a registration role and a captain role for each lobby, then press Enable. |
| The scrim turned itself off | It had fewer than 5 registrations for 3 cycles in a row, or your plan changed. Press Enable. |
| A team gets ❓ | The message was not in the right shape. Use the template: %register, team name, tag, then managers and the bot mention. |
| A team gets 📣 | They did not mention the bot. |
| A team gets ⏰ | Registration has not opened yet. |
| A team gets ⭐ | VIP registration is open and they lack the VIP role. |
| A team gets 🚫 | They are banned. Check Bans. |
| A team gets 🔁 | A team with the same name and tag, or the same Axis team, is already in this run. You can switch duplicates to accepted and flagged under Options. |
| Seats are missing | Seats run from the start slot for the lobby size and never pass slot 25. Check Lobbies and seats. |
| The schedule is refused | Every close must be at or before the start, and a day cannot be longer than 20 hours from first registration to start. |
| A clear stopped part way | Press Continue clear on the Clear day screen. |
| Bans do nothing | A Ban role must be set first under Roles. |
