Lobbies, bans and VIP
Fix seating by hand, deal with no-shows, and reward your VIPs.
Lobby control
Each lobby has a control panel for admins. It lists the seats as the bot holds them, the waitlist in order, and the teams that were refused or removed this run. A ⚠ marks a duplicate that was accepted.
- Confirm / Cancel
- Mark a seated team confirmed, or cancelled. Clears the other mark.
- Remove
- Takes a team out of its seat. It goes to the bottom of the waitlist and loses the captain role unless another of its teams is seated.
- Move
- Put a team in an empty seat.
- Swap
- Exchange two seats. If one is empty, it is a move.
- Insert
- Seat a team by hand in the first empty normal seat. VIP seats are filled with Swap in or a swap.
- Swap in
- Seat a waitlisted team by its number on the waitlist. Naming an occupied seat replaces that team, which goes to the bottom of the waitlist.
In Discord
The panels live in the admin channel you set under Channels. Use their buttons and menus.
On the web dashboard
Open the Lobbies tab. Changes here update the slot lists and admin panels in Discord.
Bans
A banned manager cannot register. Bans count down by one scrim day at each clear. They need a Ban role (Roles) and are kept per ban role.
The ladder
A ladder turns missed matches into ban lengths. Each row is two numbers: missed matches, then days. You can have up to 10 rows. For example:
1 1
2 3
3 7That means one missed match is a one day ban, two is three days, three is a week. The numbers are an example. Choose your own.
Applying bans
- From sheet
- Reads the missed matches from your scoring sheet and applies the ladder. Runs by itself at clear when "Ban from sheet at clear" is automatic.
- Set
- Ban a person for a number of days. A team label is optional and only shows on the list.
- Extend / Shorten
- Add or remove days from an existing ban.
- Lift / Lift all
- End a ban early, or all of them.
In Discord
Configure… → Bans. Buttons: Set, Extend, Shorten, Lift, From sheet, Edit ladder and Lift all.
On the web dashboard
The Bans tab. Create the scoring sheet first if you want to ban from it. Extending a ban adds days to what is left. Use Set on a row to replace the length.
VIP
VIP is a role that gets two perks: registration that opens before everyone else's, and seats that the public cannot take. Teams usually pay you for it, not Axis Labs.
- Set a VIP role under Roles, and a VIP opens time on each scheduled day.
- Reserve some VIP seats under Lobbies and seats.
- Grant the role to a person for a period.
Type the period as 5m, 2h or 14d. A bare number counts as days. Granting again adds the new time to what is left. The bot takes the role back when it ends.
In Discord
Configure… → VIP grants. Pick a person and enter a period.
On the web dashboard
The VIP grants tab. Search for a member and grant.
