Scoring sheets

Every event keeps its scores in a Google Sheets workbook. The bot fills in team names. Scores come from you or from Auto Score.

Event type
How are you doing it?

The workbook is the source for results images. Each tab holds up to 25 teams and 16 matches.

Share the link carefully

Anyone with the workbook link can edit it. Share it with your staff, not with the public.

Tournament

Tournament workbook

The bot claims a workbook when you create the tournament and adds a tab for each stage lobby, named like Group stage - 1. Tabs from earlier stages are kept for history.

Write teams and rosters to the sheet

Run this whenever lobbies, teams or rosters change:

/sheets update lobby:all

lobby is a number from 1 to 10 or all. Add event_name if more than one event is active. Only event admins can run it.

  • It writes team names and roster names for the live stage.
  • It clears seats that were emptied.
  • It never touches placements or kills, so existing scores survive.

Scrim

Scrim workbook

A scrim has one workbook with a tab per lobby. Day after day it is cleared and reused. The workbook is not created for you: press Create sheet once.

Write seated teams to the sheet

  • Create sheet claims a workbook and adds a tab per lobby.
  • Push teams writes the name and tag of each seated team into its lobby tab by slot. Empty seats are blanked. Player rows are left alone.
  • Sync tabs lines the tabs up with your lobbies after you change the lobby count. Push does it too.

A clear resets the tabs from the template, so push again on the next day.

In Discord

Open the pinned dashboard and choose Configure… → Scoring. You get Open sheet (or Create sheet) and Get results. On a tournament there is also an Auto score button that opens the web dashboard.

On the web dashboard

The Auto Score tab shows the workbook state and a warning if lobbies or rosters changed since the last sync.

One job at a time

Only one scoring job runs per server at once. /sheets update, Auto Score and Get results take turns. If you see a message that something is already running, wait a minute and try again.

Next

Put scores in with Auto Score or type them into the sheet, then generate a results image.
